Who is a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver?

After completing your PADI Open Water Diver course you can broaden your experience by completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. This internationally recognised scuba diving qualification enhances your scuba diving skills and opens up many new diving adventures, while qualifying you to dive to 30 metres with a dive buddy.

PADI Advanced Open Water Course Format

At Scubadive West we complete the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course in one weekend, starting on Friday afternoon and finishing by Sunday evening.

Our PADI Advanced Open Water Course is structured as follows:

Two Core PADI Adventure Dives: Deep Dive & Underwater Navigation

Then choose three more dives from the following list: Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Dive, Dry Suit Dive, Search and Recovery Dive, Digital Underwater Photography.

Combine the PADI Advanced Course & Dry Suit Specialty Courses.

Why not complete your Advanced Open Water Course and Dry Suit Diver Specialty together?

Complete your Dry Suit Specialty Course on Friday, thus allowing you to undertake their entire Advanced Course on Saturday and Sunday in one of our warm, toasty drysuits!

Complete 6 training dives with us over three days and receive two PADI Certifications – all in the comfort and warmth of our drysuits!

We will register you with PADI and send your Advanced Open Water eLearning so you can get started today!

3 Day Course, available from March – September.

From March to September, our Advanced Course runs over 3 days, starting the course on Friday at 12pm and finishing the course with the Deep and Wreck dives on Sunday.
